Shabby Sunday

Hi Everyone

Just finished a very shabby pot cupboard. It was in a very sorry states when I bought it from EBay. I began to sand the piece down and found a lovely little insert in the middle of the cupboard, so I have kept it au natural. Not sure at the moment, it probably is too shabby for my taste but I know their are lots of people out there who love the very shabby distressed look.

Just spent a busy day at home finishing a few pieces of furniture which are now for sale on EBay shabby chic framed blackboard $65

I have just returned from a trip back to the old country. I miss the lush greenery of my childhood. as a child I played in the woods and trod the ancient lanes, following in the footsteps of traders and their pack horses carrying wool to Halifax. I do believe the history of England and the forgotten memories are stamped into my dna. No matter how far I travel my heart will always remain in the England of my youth
