Desk painted in Graphite Chalk Paint

Hi everyone
at last here is the desk painted in a new colour for me, Graphite. The paint is a very sophisticated slate grey colour with blue undertones.
The waxing of this piece was a nightmare, I can't tell you how many hours I spent rubbing and buffing. Wax is definitely harder to apply on a dark piece of furniture.
This little desk is for sale on eBay for $195

My New Job Title

Today I have officially become a restorer of old and unloved pieces of furniture. I may go back to being an Early Years Educator but only on a casual basis. I will miss the look of wonderment on a child face when telling them a magical story. I will miss singing and dancing when we go on a bear hunt. However life is for living and I love painting furniture so onwards and upwards as they say.Luckily my husband is totally behind any decisions I make, although when I come home with a tatty piece of furniture he tends to have a quizzical look on his face.
Today the weather is very springlike even though its not officially spring until next week, it definitely feels a little warmer.... thank goodness.
Even though I come from England and should be used to the cold weather I still can't believe the
biting wind we get here in Victoria. All my English friends are telling me that they have had a wonderful summer, it makes a change from the cold wet ones they had when we were still living there.

here is that little hall table, what colour do you think I should paint it?
My lovely chalkboard in a vintage frame is still for sale at $65 very impressive and large would look good on a dining room wall with special quotations written on it
work in progress 6 country rustic chairs, hopefully should be on sale at the weekend. I now have much more room in the garage for my painting and storing of all my to do furniture.
My wonderful husband has moved the camper outside, allowing me to monopolise the garage for my painting. He also made a to do pile and a work in progress pile .... how kind of him!
I am painting six country rustic chairs at the moment and they should be on sale at the weekend. I have also purchased a lovely little hall table with 1 drawer. I havent decided what colour to paint it yet, suggestions gratefully accepted

French Provincial Rustic Table For Sale

This table was an ebay buy and when it was delivered to me, I honestly thought I had made a big mistake. It had 1 plank of wood on the top and the legs were encrusted with dirt and old paint. I really couldn't be bothered and could see no potential in the table. Luckily for me my husband likes a challenge. He got to work replacing the top and sanding the legs down to reveal the lovely rustic shape.
I painted it with ASCP in Louis Blue and voila as they say a beautiful little table.
For Sale on Ebay starting bid $80

Minus 1 wisdom tooth

I am having a very relaxing day at home today, due to unforeseen circumstances. I awoke in the middle of the night with a toothache. I managed to get an emergency appointment and the dentist declared my wisdom tooth needed to come out. After much prodding and pulling I am now minus 1 wisdom tooth. My mouth is numb and I am under strict instructions to eat only soft food. Why oh Why is it than when anyone says that you want to eat the crunchiest morsel of food in the cupboard.

I have just finished the buffet/dresser and the piece is now for sale on ebay at £425.
It is so rewarding to find a honey coloured pine piece of furniture and give it a new lease of life.
I especially like the waxed pine top
